Checkweigher WPM series

The WPM series is a checkweigher combining weight control with detection of contaminant metals. Thanks to a careful design and a detailed study of the machine, the WPM series represents an excellent solution in terms of volume and cost reduction.  The software has also been conceived to make the operator’s work easier by integrating the checkweigher’s interface with metal detector remote control. This reduces the recipe change time and allows getting a single production report. As with the WP series, the WPM series also offers a number of variations and customizations aimed at increasing customers’ satisfaction, cost saving and reduction of volumes.

Idecon checkweighers are available in different configurations according to: 

  • size and type of product
  • line operation speed
  • line space requirements
  • sorting method used for the products to be weighed

Idecon is in a position to specially design and supply transport, feeding and sorting systems to best position and classify the products that are going to be weighed, labeled, rejected and reused.

  • Standard conveyors are made in stainless steel to ensure extremely careful cleaning and easy maintenance.
  • Special conveyors in plastic materials and Intralox® modular mesh allowing a thorough washdown are available free of charge.
  • Most spare parts used for IDECON checkweighers are easily found on the market and are interchangeable with other commercial products.
  • IDECON checkweighers are fitted with a totally new software, particularly intuitive and easy-to-use. Its main features are:

    Graphic display of line performance. Each weighed product is tracked through a specific point in the chart. The whole of the points provides instant information about the production progress, even after a number of hours.

    Instant Graphic display of average error: green box for positive average error, red box for negative average error.

    Ongoing display of production data on main screen.

    Few big pushbuttons for instant and intuitive access to all functions.

  • Constant software development, innovation and integration to meet with each customer’s special requirements.
  • Custom made machines to comply with specific needs.
  • Production data can be easily exported in PDF format from each machine to a remote place via a USB key or Ethernet.
  • One more novelty is represented by the office software package that allows input of recipes to a common PC with same graphic interface as the machine. Recipes are then transferred via USB key.
  • Moreover, an Excel® macro is also available to export all production data to a worksheet.
